What you'd do
- Develop high-quality backend services across Coupang Pay product engineering
- Improve and stabilize the CouPay one-touch payment platform serving millions
- Partner with accounting, treasury, and fintech teams on payment back-office systems
What they want
- Minimum 8 years of professional backend software development experience in industry
- Hands-on Java and Spring framework distributed system experience in production
- Strong drive to solve real product and engineering problems end-to-end
Nice to have
- Strong working understanding of JPA and microservice architecture in production
- Prior hands-on payment domain experience at consumer scale
- Large-scale operational systems with incident management and monitoring exposure
